Wicker Park

I was reading blog which was explaining an area in Chicago (Wicker Park) that was similar to Williamsburg in Brooklyn, where I stayed. Williamsburg was just about the best place someone in their mid 20s could hang out it in. So I did a little research and found some photos of Wicker Park.

yes, it is similar-feeling (i live right over there). the funny thing is that when my parents lived there in the early 80s they fell asleep to gunshots every night. now it's filled with artsy-types and boutiques, and some of the best unknown restaurants/bars in the city (if you ask me)
