Im really excited about this find! JPG magazine is relaunching with expanded member tools and offset printing. It was initially created by husband and wife team, Derek Powazek and Heather Powazek Champ in 2004 and had a simple goal: to honour the fantastic work coming from nonprofessional photogrpahers all over the world. There have been 6 issues to date and the new website is being geared to help photographers get found and published. Each issue has a theme and photographers can submit images to be published in that magazine. Photos are then voted on by us, the public at large, and then put into the magazine. This is such a great platform for all you frustrated photographers out there, like myself, to get your images into the world.
