Frédéric Chaubin

This is again emphasising my obsession with Soviet relics and old architecture as it is reminiscent of the space race and early sci-fi cinema. Frédéric Chaubin spent five years capturing this eccentric "absolutely wierd and strange" architecture.

those are some crazy buildings. Soviet architecture was so brutal...I especially like the first image with the super thin staircase cantilevered off the side of the retaining wall. It's interesting that all of these photos are taken from the same angle - the buildings all seem to be oriented in the same way...anyway, I thought you might be interested in this abandoned resort in taiwan. It's pretty amazing.
