I have to post my favourite sculptor, Duane Hanson. His photorealistic sculptures are breathtaking. I cant get enough of his life-like work, it is amazing! I would love to know the process behind such creations.
so amazing! i recently saw a similar exhibit (Ron Mueck's) in NYC - to see something like that in person is so surreal; it feels like you're staring at someone who can't see you, causing you to reflect on yourself and humanity as a whole...luv your blog!
i love this! reminds me of the photographs of william eggleston (http://www.egglestontrust.com/). and of paul mccarthy, who did similar statues in an exhibition i saw in munich a couple of years ago. they are the weirdest thing because he animates them with hidden motors!

His work is amazing.
Do you think it is vain to want a lifesize version of myself? haha!!

Wow. Truly amazing. I love how his characters have a sad quality.
