Im really proud to have hit the 5000 mark. I know some blogs have hundreds of thousands of hits, but since July 2006 and getting 2 hits a day I am super excited to have made this milestone. My goal to hit 5000 was December but I reckon January the 12th was close enough. Thank you to all who participate and read my often badly written posts. Im getting better...I hope!

Yay! Congratulations to you. I've also started 2007 at the 5000 mark. It's not quite the million a week Vogue tells me a shoe blog gets (shoes? a million?), but good going, nonetheless. All the best for this year's blogging.
A million! Whoa! Setting the bar a little too high. I would like 100 000 by the end of 2007. I enjoy it and if people can ejoy it with me, well that is awesome!

Wow, that's a great milestone! I've been at it since October and am just coming up on the 1,000 mark. Any suggestions? (Between the two of you and a few others, my readership per day has about doubled recently, and for that I'm so grateful!) But I'd love any tips you have for getting a little more traffic.

It occurs to me that entire blogs are written on this question. I'm more interested in what has worked best for you.
Well it about just getting involved and connecting with other bloggers. The key is to be yourself and show interest on people. There are so many great people out there, and all you have to do is mail them and say Hi. Also posting comments on other blogs and linking blogs from yours to others.
Write it and they will come.
Make it unique and focused with a personal touch.
